Yea, some of my friends are over there too...

I dunno, all due respect - but I just wasn't interested. 1) Don't like huge crowds, 2) Not interested in most of the acts, except maybe Rush... but that alone wasn't worth skipping work to sit through 12 hours of the rest...

Well, some bands were good, some sucked, and some weren't either.

Sass Jordan was a disappointment.
Blue Rodeo and The Flaming Lips sucked as usual.
Rush sounded like Rush, which is unfortunate.

The Tea Party have done better.

Sam Roberts was great.
AC/DC is fucking awesome.
If nothing else, harsh noises get your attention.

I was there ... i came .. i SARS .... i conquered ... meh, it was on a t shirt.

i got there 3/4 of the way though sas jordans set ... what a shame ... but what did suck was that i missed the tea party. The isely brothers were ok, i liekd their guitar player, but didn't liek the vocalist too much. Justin timberlake's set came up and there was a mass exodus towards the bathrooms ... i was part of that exodus ... The bathrooms were funny.

Somebody was getting laid in the stall next to me ... it's amazing how quickly she queeted down when i couched ... personaly i don't think a porto-potty is the best place to go to get your rocks off ... exspecialy when she's that loud.

Rush played a great set, i was wondering why the hell geddy lee had a wahser and drier on the stage ... i never saw him tossing the t-shirts into the cowd ... my dad jsut told me tonight about that.

AC/DC was great, they problaby got the best reception from the fans. I know i liekd their set ... fucking Angus is a mental case ... he looks so funny when he runs around playing guitar .. his knees are so funny ... jsut how the look when he rusn around.

The Stones also palyed a great set ... too bad they were a half hour late ... i left before they palyed jumping jack flash though ... so i missed the encore (which was jumping jack flash) and fireworks ... it would have been nice if they played "paint it black", but at least they played "sympathy for the devil" ... i wouldn' tleave untill i heard that song.

Teh Guess who, were in my opinion the weakest of the bands i went there to go see, they were good, but i don't know ... they jsut didn't sound right to me ... problaby because i'm comparing them to recordings of them when they were 30 years younger ...

but i liked the concert, it gave me some new insight to how dumb people can be when enough of them gather together.

Also, i'd like to give a royal fuck you to every one who threw shit at justin Timberlake.

he had the balls to get up in front of 450 000 people and spout his balless, souless music ... the least you can do is shut the fuck up and pretend to be having fun. And throwing botles of piss .. come on thats just sick ... I don't like justin, or his music, but i respect him. he's the only musician who didn't get paid, he went there and sung when he knew he'd be the odd one out, and he sung for a good cause. I know one thing, i sure as hell woudn't have gone up on stage, even if i could paly guitar for my weight in shit and people wanted to hear me ... i still wouldn't. So justin if your reading this (which i can pretty much gaurentee yoru not, congradulations for having the balls to do what i never would.)
