Need a WAV/CD/MP3 converter

I'm looking for a good coverter for music files. I'd like to get my audio files from a CD and a DVD. So far I've been using CDex, a freeware converter.

But it's not really that customizable. I need sofware with more capability. Can anyone tell me another software name that's really good?
