Plurals

Tell me, when you want to talk about multiple AMV, do you say AMVs, or AMV? Also, because anime is a Japanese word, it’s understandable that it probably wouldn’t be pluralized, but some people do anyway. Which is correct?

As far as I'm concerned, the word "Anime" was adopted by American Japanese Animation fans.................correct me if I'm wrong.

Anime Music VideoS, so AMVs. In this case, the words "Anime" and "Music" are adjectives, and the "Video" is the noun. Therefor, you use the endings of "Video". If "Anime" was the noun and the other two were the adjectives (Music Video Anime) then there would be no "s".

I doubt the term 'anime' is exclusively American, though I'm quite certain 'Japanimation' is - I've heard the former being used universally to describe Japanese animation for years, but the latter only after I discovered not three years ago how popular the stuff is over in the West. :)

Everytime someone calls it Japanimation i feel like killing someone.

"Anime" is a French word.

Funny thing is that telling someone that is a really effective way to get them to pronounce it properly  (just say the "e" is in fact "é")

So here comes the argument... or lack of actually...

How do you say anime (you personally).

I always just say 'anne-uh-may' (very oaf like hehe)

The snooty way(hahaha) 'ah-knee-may' always sounds weird to me.

Any other ways?

I have sinned. I made a video I wanted to make that was music + anime + sync + action + effects/transitions. Oh lordy.
