Since I don't have any of my videos up on the org, I'll be taking reviews without exchange until further notice. I'll see how quickly I get the requests and go from there.

Here are my guidelines if you want a review from me:

I've seen hundreds of AMV's so there are a few of the more over-used series that I only seem to enjoy watching anymore if they're the very best of the best. Sorry, I know this will filter out a lot of requests but I'm not as nice as Omni, because I'm not doing this so much to help everyone improve as I am to just enjoy myself and give someone an honest opinion if they're interested.

So don't give me any of the following:
Evangelion
Kenshin
Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
Dragon Ball

I consider about 6 as the average so don't ask me to review if you think getting 6's (even though I think it's a decent video) would upset you. Although I *will* do my best to explain why I gave what what I did.

Just like Omni said, "READ THE GUIDES!!" It's pointless for me to explain something in a review when the info is already right here on the website although I do understand that even after reading the guides, technical problems can keep video quality and other things from being all they could be.

I do have Quicktime but I DON'T have Real Media Player and don't plan on installing it anytime soon.

Also, I like to judge on what the intent of the creator is. Example: "I wanted to make something that would make someone who had never seen this series give it a try."
So, while not necessary, feel free to add any comments like this to your post.

That's all I can think of. Now let's see if anyone even wants my opinion.

Heh, great subject line, got me curious about the thread.

Here's a quick little appetizer to get you started, if you're willing:

Right, Ryoko. We Believe You.

Nothing to speak of effects wise, I was concentrating on the lipsync overlays and final encoding quality.

A whopping 36 seconds, credits included.

Okay. Finished with Beebop0083, SeeDTien and FurryCurry.

Wow. 2:46 AM. Hope there weren't too many typos in my reviews.

Anyway, I'll definitely have the rest of the requests so far done some time tomorrow.

Oh, by the way, silver_moon, I have a friend who makes AMV's (althought he's never showed me any) and you're his favorite creator right now. I've actually already seen this video. Very good. I'll watch it again tomorrow... oh wait, I mean today, and do the review.

Ah yes... MJ... Can't say I'm the biggest fan of "Money Shot" but the Pretty Sammy video had me rolling on the floor. I look foward to watching this one.

Wow, that was fast, and at least fair, perhaps a bit generous.

Thanks very much for your review, and the speed with which you did it. I found it useful and well thought out.

I'll be happy to give you a review in exchange if you put one or more up for download, or get ahold of me via AIM and send me one. I can also be found on one or two IRC channels for DCC, if you are so inclined. I can also arrange for file transfers via a private FTP server.

This may appear greedy, but I'll be happy to owe you another review review if you care to take a look at this, my only completed full length vid to date: Questioning Youth.

If you choose not to, I fully understand, but I can't help but try, ya know?

I will, of course, feel obligated to return a review of this with one of my own, <cue mission impossible music> should you choose to accept it. </MI music>

Again, thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing some AMVage from you.

What's your reviewing policy about shonen ai? I have an older vid I could use a constructive review for, if you don't mind the genre, and it's not explicit (not even a single kiss). It was my first various vid, so ignore mind my confident vid description. I got far too many downloads and far too little criticism to think clearly. >.<

If you'd rather avoid that sort of thing, you could nab something else, or just not worry about it. ^_^; I don't like to pressure people who are giving out free ops.
