Y'know, this is something I've always wanted to ask: is alcohol a prerequisite for being an AMV editor? I've heard some of the interesting stories about AWA, so I was just curious...

I really don't drink much at all. My largest alcoholic consumtion at JACON was a single glass of plum wine at dinner Saturday night. Then again, I'm not much of an editor either :P

I don't drink at all, so no, it's not a prerequisite. Though I've heard it's quite useful for dulling frayed nerves at Iron Chef competitions. :P

You didn't hear anything from me :whistles away: :-D

Oh and it definitely didn't HELP. If anything it made me not know how to use Premiere for 5 minutes :-P. Funny how I'll still get slightly intoxicated before my next one :-P

Put a little something extra in your drink to make Iron Chef look like this.

It worked at AWA last year. Just try it!

Uhm...in case I was unclear...I *was* intoxicated during my ACen Iron Chef. Yup, 300 people got to see me *try* and make a Black Matte for 5 minute :(.

So yeah, something extra *was* in my drink :-P. Given I didn't have as much as Hsien and thus my Iron Chef experience did not look like that. I was just *slightly* (keyword) intoxicated. I know no one believes me though :-P.

What are the methods to get there if you don't have a car? Has anyone found out if the hotel has a shuttle going to and from the airport?
