I'm feeling opinionated...

Post by aaronlye » Sat Aug 10, 2002 11:25 am

Well... not really - I just feel like giving out a few reviews, now that I have access to something more than just a 56k. That and I'm becoming a little desperate - a number of my newer vids are falling far behind the "recommended" 1 review to 100 hits ratio. :)

Therefore, I will review SEVEN (7) videos, in exchange for an equal number of opinions. I would like either of the following videos reviewed:

- To Live By The Sword http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=6607
Genre: Action, Drama
Anime: Inuyasha, Star Ocean EX, Mahou Senshi Riui, Tales of Eternia
Music: "starry sky", HAL, Angelic Layer ED

- Full Metal Gear Solid Panic! http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=8293
Genre: Trailer, Action
Anime: Full Metal Panic
Music: Metal Gear Solid 2 Opening Theme

Here are some guidelines for the videos I'd preferably like to review:

- preferably MPEG or DivX, but I won't say no to RM or WMV.
- no DBZ, unless you can prove that there's something original in it
- videos with lesser opinions will be given preferential treatment (then again, if your vid has 50+ ops, I doubt you'd be here, yes? :) )
- obvious as it may seem, please have a working link for me to download the file from.
- only videos that have already premiered
- max. 1 vid per person responding

And there you go.

I've already done your Full Metal Gear Solid Panic! video so I'll go do your To Live By The Sword one. Seems like an interesting group of anime used anyways. :) If you like you can review the only video I currently have up for download at the moment:

Advanced Police of Truth Ver 1.0 Omega

Don't worry, it's DivX this time, just don't grade the capture quality too hard because I had to compress and compress over and over to fit it all on my hard drive. :)

Being Opinionated Addenda

Post by aaronlye » Sat Aug 10, 2002 12:03 pm

Two things I forgot to mention.

- I try to give relatively detailed reviews and I'm a firm believer in giving as you get, but I can only encourage others to do the same. ^_^

- Also, all reviews will be done over the next three or four days... so don't start yelling unless you don't get a review by Tuesday, which is unlikely, unless you didn't meet one of the guidelines I mentioned earlier.

Don't worry, I've gotten a lot better at giving detailed reviews since I first reviewed your FMP video. (I did your Inuyasha to Kagome too, although you haven't responded to that yet :)

You can pick between

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=9093

or

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=9460

your choice 8) But, I would only recommend you watch my Trigun video if you've watched the whole series (major spoilers and lots of symbolism used). I'm downloading both of your videos right now, I will pick one to review once I've watched them^_^

Will be downloading the mentioned videos in a few hours' time. If anyone else still wants to do an opinion exchange, there are three slots left, and you still have that much time to let me know. :)
