Are the videos that are being shown this Saturday (6/21) the same videos that were shown last Saturday (6/14), or is it a whole new batch?

Also, for those not familiar with the UMCP campus, the screening is being held in Building #88 on this map (you can click on the bldg for more info).

Whoof. Long day on the road yesterday. Long day ahead today duping tapes for at-home reviewers. Anyway....

Thanks go out to those who came to the UMCP Pre-Convention Screening yesterday to help evaluate the Otakon 2003 AMV submissions! We watched through Tapes 3 & 4 this time. Special thanks to the officers of the Terrapin Anime Society who kept the room open afterwards so we could get through Tapes 1 & 2 for the people who couldn't make it last week.

Next weekend (6/28+6/29) we should finish the up with Tapes 6, 7 & 5, in that order. Depending on timing & how many new people show up at UMCP or KOP we may do either Tape 3 or 4 again.

Now, off to start tallying up the intermediate results. :-)

I wouild like to add to that, yesterdays pres-screenings went very nice. We had none of the problems associated with last weeks session (minus having to use Matt's deck....again).

Here is to hoping next week will be as good!

Oh yeah, did that pizza ever come?

Yeah, I agree. Props to whoever sent that mythical email that apparently reduced the heckling. The pizza never came cause it was never ordered...

I poked a few friends and posted to one of the club MLs asking them to keep it down. Looks like it worked. There were also more creators present, which was cool. Here's to a good screening next week.....and some work so that I can afford to bake for you people again.

yeah the screening was nothing like i expected (with Heckling), so i enjoyed it very much. I was there til about 6:10 and that is when everyone got tired and we got to Tape 2... which lead to some heckling, but not too much. I had a great time got to meet some of the creators who posted here. I hope to be there this satureday... i'll bring extra cords for Matt too ^_^!

wow, 4 tapes in 1 day. That's taxing to anyone.

And I just found something new and fun for "wait for everyone to gather theater". All I'll say is that some people are going to be feeling very old afterwards.

Well to be perfectly honest, I don't think tape 2 had anythign particularly special. So it is understandable how there would be some conflict going on there.

Oh yeah iserlohn, those were good cookie too. I'm still alive, so we know you didn't try to poison any other creators.
Of course, I only did get to have one. Perhaps I'm speaking too soon. I'll have to wait to see if some of the other people show up who had like 10.
