Dude, WTF are you smoking? Like, HALF of Britney's songs and 3/4 of what I've heard from BSB are better than "Too Shy" and "What Boys Like"! If you want to talk about some REAL '80s one-hit wonders, I can happily point you in the direction of After the Fire, Animotion, the Bangles, the Cars, Cindy (or is it Cyndi?) Lauper, etc.

Hmmm i grew up in the eighties, I enjoyed those songs. It was my opinion, if you wanna start with 80's war of whose good and bad.. start away... Those were the songs that came to mind.. And I KNOW those other bands you mentioned.. As for WTF im smoking DUDE, thats none of your business...
Dude.. so nice to constantly be referred to the male pursasion... even after changing my avatar..

I agree with tutterbutter about her on-hit wonder picks. I don't know what cave the Black Monarch was in during the 80s, but as Kthulu pointed out a few posts ago, most of those bands that he cites as being '80s one-hit wonders actually aren't.

I remember hearing Cars songs a LOT when I was a kid. Let the Good Times Roll, Shake it Up, Let's Go, You Might Think, Magic, Drive...and that was when I listened to Top 40 radio, so they must've been hits.
My favorite video: Grilled Steak Trigun I LOVE THE COPS! Rargh!
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg! haha school rumble is great
Why do I always have the most preposterous sigs???
My current favorite thread. I'm a huge fan of GA-JAMMING.
