well I'm gonna be doing a new video to hellsing and vampire hunter d bloodlust, but D is widescreen and hellsing is very much not widescreen.
Is there any other way of gettting around this, besides changing D's proportion.

go to the avtech guides (linik in sig) and search the page for "anamorphic".

Read that guide.

You're going to have to crop or resize one of them. There is no way you can combine them with out either cropping or letter boxing Vampire Hunter D. Or cropping hellsing and editing it at the same res as Vampire Hunter D.

You could selectively use the Image Pan effect in Premeire to allow you to blow up certain portions of Vampire Hunter D to the proper res aspect. This would allow you to move the "camera" around so that you wouldn't be stuck with the sides being cut off. You could move the camer from side to side to make sure your characters were in the scene.

The problem with that is the resize ability on the image pan filter sucks. So it may look blurry or crappy.

I would just crop the letter boxes and sides off until you have Vampire to a 4:3 aspect ratio, then blow it up so it matches the res of your hellsign footage. :O

Blah I am rambling.

But, anyways, the short answer is no. You'll have to crop or resize one or the other.
