Need help finding song off of Triple X trailer

Postby Ean » Fri Aug 09, 2002 5:28 pm

I was at the movie theaters earlier this summer and I saw a preview for the movie "Triple X". Near the end of the Triple X preview a techno remix of a classical song comes on. For the past few weeks I've been wondering what this song is... Does anyone happen to know the name of the song?

It sounds like something by E.S. Posthumus (Spiderman Trailer), but I'm not exactly sure what the title of the song is.

see you space cowboys.

Here's a list of songs on the Original Soundtrack to -xXx-

Disc: 1
1. Feuer Frei - Rammstein
2. Bodies (Vrenna's XXX Tweaker Mix) - Drowning Pool
3. I Will Be Heard - Hatebreed
4. Millionaire - Queens Of The Stone Age
5. Get Up Again - Flaw
6. Landing - Moby
7. Adrenaline - Gavin Rossdale
8. 004 - Fermin IV
9. Technologicque - Orbital

Disc: 2
1. Stick Out Ya Wrist - Nelly (w/ Toya)
2. Look at Me - Lil' Wayne
3. Truth or Dare - N.E.R.D. (w/ Kellis)
4. Are We Cuttin' - Pastor Troy (w/ Ms. Jade)
5. Still Fly - Big Tymers
6. Connected for Life - Mack 10 (w/ Ice Cube & WC)
7. Lights Camera Action - Mr. Cheeks (w/ Missy Elliot & P. Diddy)
8. It's Okay - Postaboy
9. Yo, Yo, Yo - Dani Stevenson
10. Lick - Joi

I don't think that song you are talking about is on the soundtrack. Because on some movie trailers, they play different songs that aren't normally on the soundtrack.

I looked into a couple of pieces by E.S. Posthumus and found not only what I was looking for (the song on the Triple X trailer) but I also found some more good songs. Thank you very much. The song is entitled "Harappa" by E.S. Posthumus.

Sometimes though the trailer music is not even part of the soundtrack. And if it is a song without lyrics it can very hard to find.

The original dragonheart movie had a beautiful soundtrack with a very emotional symphonic piece. It was part of the movie and the trailer...but then I started to hear it on every other sad trailer :? From "The emporer" to "mulan" lots of trailers started using it. In that case, you just have to get lucky and ask the right person where to find the music.

And it looks like it worked out just that way for you too :)
