only 4 slots are taken on this COMPilation CD !! that means that there are lots of opportunities available for you to get on !
Assailant Studios is looking for talented, unsigned artists to volunteer some of their work for the upcoming compilation Cd "Demo from the Demon World"
Now this is an independant release, and all the costs are coming out of my pocket , so we cannot offer royalties. BUt free exposure ? HELL YEAH !
-WHo can apply?
-What Genres of music are accepted?
***ANYONE*** We are accepting all types of genres and are hoping to get a good blend of what is out there, united under the common theme of darkness.
DemoftDemonWorld is going to be a hard sick ass CD that will kick you in the teeth, chill you to the bone, and leave you begging for more.
The expected date of "release" will hopefully be at the end of june2003, depending of several factors. So please show interest NOW!. Also keep in mind that although I am being VERY particular with the choosing of the bands that go on this CD, you dont know if you will be accepted if you dont try . ALL IT TAKES IS 1 EMAIL (with a link to your site, or song page)

Three year olds banging on pots and pans.

I keep telling Jace, "there are plenty of real musicians, who are even out of preschool, that you can sign". He stills insists on the three year olds.

Sometimes, he worries me.
I'm out...

Bands Signed:

Better Than Nothing
Madison
Maxwell Stone <--They suck. The lead singer is one of my best friends tho. =/

The label's still coming together. I help them all out a lot, but it's more from a friend. The label is going tot ake about $1,000 to make official. It'l be like 350 just to Trade Mark it. It's cool tho, Madison and Maxwell Stone don't have CDs. Better Than Nothing's CD is being mastered and it sounds awsome just the way it is right now.

I'm rebuilding Haven 01 right now to be a fan site thata ctually works right =/ Money I get from that combined with Better Than Nothing CD sales should get the label going the right way.

Damn, you're taking this label pretty seriously, good work. I never heard of these guys before obviously, so what type of style would you say it is? Mine was all New York City indie type stuff and some experimental hardcore. Most of it was pretty crappy, but it was cool.

I'd call Better Than Nothing a mix between Home Grown, RX Bandits, Pain, and Green Day.

Maxwell stone is some what hardcore, but like I said, they really suck =/

Madison is your average punk band, nothing to special or unique about them.

You can download some of better than nothing's stuff here: http://www.TXska.com I know it says ska in the url, but it's really not. They just have a trumpet player that kicks in every now and then =/ These recordings at their site, they're absolutley TERRIBLE compared to their CD. Their CD sounds very prffessional, better than a lot of mainstream bands. The stuff at their site sounds like it came off a punk CD from a band that's be around for like, 5 years. Their CD is just so icnredible tho. When I have a mastered copy I'll rip and upload some stuff.

" THE WAY IT HAS TO BE" WRITTEN BY:Yuppa. Copyright, 2003
I'm out of time, and i'm out of reasons...
Why is it so hard to be Ple as ing!
The seasons roll..on and on,
Just like a roll-ing-stone,
Thats trying to find his way home..
Chorus) Why can't they see, This is the way it's supposed to be..
It's the way it has to be!! It's just the way it has to be!
(feel free to add solo or, do as you see fit)

So many times i feel alone
as i make my way back home.
I drive so fast to lose this beast,
I wish that i could find some peace
I do not know what it is i ne eed...!
There's something there i just can"t seeeee!
ITS JUST THE WAY IT HAS TO BE.
JUST THE WAY IT HAS TO BE!!!

So how does it sound to you? The only thing i would like to get for this is The Mp3 copy of the one who does it,and the writers gredit. that is all :)
