Here's the results of the JACON AMV Contest:

Best Comedy
Brian aka Akimbo - More Than Toast Productions
Whatever (Cowboy Bebop, United Stated of Whatever)

Best Action
Tim Park - Doki Doki Productions
Butterfly (Various, Butterfly)

Best Drama/Romance
Brett Buchan aka Kwasek - More Than Toast Productions
Hmm (Hand Maid May, Ross Concert)

Best of Show
Ian Roberts - AbsoluteDestiny
Memories of Love and Conflict (She the Ultimate Weapon, Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckle)

There were lots of good videos in the contest and the DDR Disney's Rave Project was a lot of fun as well.

If only I was there...

Saturday was the only day I was going to miss, but of course all the cool AMV stuff happened Saturday. DAMNIT! That was my one main reason for going to JACON!  :? :x

Hopefully, these AMVs are up for download, though.

Hey, at least you got to go period. I have no ride to get up there, so I'm missing the whole thing

Well I must say that this years JACON AMV contest was probably one of the best contests I've seen... the finalists (about 25 videos) were all quite good and judging must of been a nightmare, expecially in Drama...

Not contest-related, but I haven't noticed any commentary on the Disney DDR project.

Surely it didn't go unnoticed. :?

It went real well. I was quite impressed by a number of tracks. Also the some of the audience danced and they loved it.

Nope, it was quite good in fact... Rumor has it that it may play at AWA as well!
