Looking for opera/techno/new age fusion

Postby Bushido Philosopher » Tue May 27, 2003 9:21 pm

Hey everyone. Was wondering if anyone knew any good opera and techno or new age songs.

I was listening to Burly Brawl by Juno Reactor vs. Don Davis from the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack and was quite intrigued by it. Was wondering what other songs I could listen to for this type of music.

and yes i know im asking for a lot of music. just that all my buddies are study freaks and have no lives but school. poor them... :(

Enigma's "The Screen Behind the Mirror" is prolly something close.
the instrumental versions of some of Rob Dougan's songs prolly work out as well.

any album by "Delerium"

If you can find Apocalypse by "XRAYDOG", that is exactly what you'd prolly want, but that is hard to find, cept for a ftp I've found with it on there along with aother stuff, but I can't post it here due to forum rules. But I'll send it to yah via pm.

Conjure One - it's a side project from Delirium (itself a side project from Front Line Assembly). but it has a more mid-east sound and greater emphasis on vocals.
If you can find it, get the special edition with the bonus tracks so you can get the song with the singer from the Tea Party.
If nothing else, harsh noises get your attention.

I know you will REALLY like Aria - Dido ( Armin Van Buuren Universal Religion Mix). Here are some more you will definatly like:

Moogwai - Viola (Armin Van Burren Remix) just the best, nothing compares.

CJ Stone - Shining Star (Rising Star Remix)

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun

Sylver - Turn The Tide (CJ Stone Remix)

Angelic Layer soundtrack - Starry Sky (Techno Remix)

Gouryella - Wallhala (Armin Van Burren Remix)

These are all I can think of right now, these tracks are some of the most astonishing, groundbreaking melodies ever composed. So far the best in this thread Ko Oh Yoku . :)
I will never forget Shining Star by CJ Stone

Switchblade Symphony has some operatic moments, but it may not be quite what your looking for.

Clown is a good song, see if you can find the remix (can't remember what it's called).
