Corbo BASH anyone?

Mmmm...knife fight...

I mean, I hate hurting people! I would never attempt to snap whiny gamer bitches like dry twigs! Never!

And just now, reading that last post, I suddenly got "The Monster Mash" stuck in my head, but it was The Corbo Bash.

You guys feel like going down to Fell's point or something Friday night and going out to the bars, or are there too many people who aren't 21 and without ID's? I feel like going out and spending time outside of the con could be fun.

...now that I think about it, we never end up doing anything at these cons besides hanging out with our group. Practically nobody buys badges, watches anime, or does anything outside of AMV's. There has got to be a cheaper/ less dorky way that we can meet up and destroy a city.

I've been trying to arrange a Fell's Point outing for years. Last year was out because Leandra was there, but the year before, I suggested it and got basically no response. I would definitely be up for that...like we're really going to do anything at the con :P

Also we need to get bob liquored up and enter him in a gaming tournement of some kind, just to see him talking so much smack to all the little kids who were giving him dirty looks as he beat the pants off of them, slurring his words and swaying in his seat.

When Bob was talking shit, that was so uncomfortable. I veto that idea. I'm all about talking shit and all as a big joke, but no one seemed to think it was funny. I seriously thought we were gonna get into a nerd knife fight in the parking lot.

Yes, but we did get the crowd friendly again, by promising everytime Bob won, I'd slam tom over the head with a certain AMV creator's AMV cd and jewel case. That went over HUGE with the crowd...they loved the sound of the jewel case cracking into pieces as I nearly knocked Tom unconscious with it.

It's just a cool area in Baltimore with lots of shops and bars. Almost like Bourbon Street in New Orleans, but not as shady :) It's a really great place to just walk along the streets and go bar-hopping at night...

You know, I really DO want to do stuff at the con, its just that they're almost never showing anything I'm interested in, and lately I've been way, way too poor to even look sideways at the dealer's room.

Still, this Point place sounds cool, lets see if we can't work a trip there in this year, eh?

It's not too far from the con. It's directly across from the Harbor, actually. Too far to walk, though, especially since it'd be through some shady areas. Only thing that's shitty is that if we leave the hotel parking garage, we have to pay, and then we'll have to pay for parking at Fell's Point as well.

I figure there is enough of us to pack at least 2 cabs. The fare won't be expensive divided up that way. It'll be a million times better than the anime dance glow stick raver party, so I say we go for it...then go back and ruin glow stick fest.

Well then, the first thing we'd have to decide is when we're having Corbo Bash proper. Can't be the same night as Fell's Point, no way no how.
