Anime North results?

Post by Jaina » Mon May 19, 2003 9:26 pm

I don't have them; I'm looking for them. I submitted a video, but was unable to attend the con. According to a friend who did go, it won something. So...yeah. Anyone got the info? For please?

I was there... if you tell me what video it was, I might be able to tell you.

I actually finally found out from the AN people themselves, but thanks so much for the offer. ^_^ It was Hallelujah, using Trigun footage. Apparently it won Momiji no Video. I'm a little bit euphoric right now.

...I'll freely admit it.... your video made me cry. I was blubbering like a baby. Could I please, please get it off you? I'm dying to show my sister, who couldn't make it to the con.

That was a damned good video. It started and I was like "what crap song is this" then a few seconds later I was so totally into it ....

Likewise, congratulations to everyone who won.

I've added this to my contests page (click the link on my sig line) along with all the links into the AMV database that I could find.

If you find any errors, feel free to PM.

Hallelujah as in Leonard Cohen?

If so, it's a damn fine song.... and if so did you use the original or one of the numeours interesting covers?

Yep, that's the song--but I used Rufus Wainwright's cover of it. It was the first version I'd heard, and in retrospect it works better for a video anyways. Love it.

Thanks so much for the lovely comments, everyone. I'm still occasionally doing dances of glee. (If by "occasionally" I mean "constantly.") Congrats to all the winners--I just wish I could have been there to see them!
