How do you slow down an audio clip?

Postby jasper-isis » Tue May 20, 2003 5:20 pm

I want to slow down an audio clip, hence making the pitch a bit lower.

[This isn't actually for an AMV. I just want to edit this karaoke song so that I won't have to strain my throat when singing along :P ]

One method is using BeSweet as explained in the Guides.

the besweet method isn't very kind on the audio source, though.

Your best bet will be with an audio program like Soundforge... but's it's not free.
