Nope

In the rules it says it must be 75% or something like that, Japanese Animation. So Ice Age would not work. Sorry.

ANIME EXPO 2003! WOOT!

Postby CHWOODYARD » Sun Apr 27, 2003 5:21 pm

I am going again this year for my second time to Expo and this year I am submitting an AMV that I made using the help I received from this forum. I mailed it for submission on Friday. Hopefully my friend can submit his amv before the deadline, he made an amv (Bad Habit) last year and got into the finals.

I am glad that Expo is in Anaheim this year because I live 15 minutes from the Anaheim Convention Center.
Hell is something that parents made up to scare kids, like the Boogie Man or........Micheal Jackson.

I may be going, I dunno yet.

For the contest I have sent in every AMV I have ever made, both of them!
They are not bad for a first and second attempt. In fact I just got back from Pak mail to send them off.

Yeah, me too. Those people in southern California live just too damn far away! ^_^
Naw, I'll be head down and spend the time with everyone. I can't wait to meet everyone, it's crazy! ^_^

I'll be volunteering all 4 days. It'll be my first time there and I'm just too excited. ^^. It's also gonna be the first time I've entered an AMV contest. I entered all three of mine but I doubt it'll make it far at all. lol. I mean compared to alot of others I've seen. *sigh* I just hope it won't be to UNFRIENDLY as some people have said. U_U

I didn't want to start a new topic, so I went ahead and replied here.

I'm definitely going to attend AX for the second consecutive year. One week from today, I'll be heading to Southern CA (1700-mile journey from AR). WOOOOO!!! I cannot wait!! 8)

Kawaii Anime Dealer's Outllook on AX2003

Postby KungPaoChicken » Fri Jun 27, 2003 2:24 pm

At this point of the year, I'd be estatic just to be out of the house, and AX offers a good escape from the boring cycle of everyday life. A bit of excitement is building for Anime Expo, just because I had a pretty good time last year, and this year seems like it will be more fun and interesting.

I'm definitely not looking forward to setting up the booth, but once that's all done I think I can actually look forward to some time walking around the exhibit hall. Who knows, maybe this year I'll actually get to see all the music videos. I wanted to submit something this year, but there really was no good anime to do it on, so perhaps next year will be the first KPC anime music video entry.

Anyway, if a few things pan out (thank god we're living at the Hilton), then this might just be more fun than last year. Here's to taking loads of pictures, eating loads of food, and partying @ night, instead of dropping dead tired and falling asleep. Oh, and not losing my badge again this year... no fatakus are going to pry it from my kung fu grip.

Come by the Kawaii Anime booth.
