Asking Phade for an edit button is like asking Bush to not go to war.

Don't try to convinvce Phade, he wants to be able to hog powers to himself.
About a day after I posted about this, he abused is powers to cover up the mistake he made, then pranced around bragging about his edited post.
He had also stated that people should be smart enough to think about what they're saying so they don't need to edit their posts, but apparently he's exempt from that.

Sure, you sound so calm now, but just you wait until he puts tax on stamps, tea, and imported goods (ANIME). Then, it'll be taxation without representation, and that's not fair.
This calls for action, why need a congress for AMVs.org, some sort of council... and we need some sort of document that outlines the ideals and morals of this site.... And we sould need a set of judges to make sure those Ideals were upheld.... And if someone wanted a change on the site, the would send a bill in through the congress and they vote on it.... and if it passes through them, Phade has final rule, but if the congress gets an outstanding number of votes, he can be overruled.... But if any change went against the document of our ideals, the council of judges would be able to shoot it down....

The .org is not a government. It does not have control over anyone. You're trying to apply a model for controlling people as a way to run and maintain a site. Bad idea.

...I used to want edit buttons, and I still do, but not as much anymore. I am now free to be just about as stupid as I want, because I can't edit it out later. It's nice, because it's not my fault anymore. ^_^
