Trying to find a song...

Alright, I heard this song a couple of years ago, and still remember how the song goes, but don't know the title or who sings it. Can anyone help me out?
Here's the lyrics from the chorus:

'Come and ride a little/nothing lasts forever/there's got to be something better than him darling
Now me and Cinderella/are going off together/where we can find somewhere/somewhere to be free'

I may have messed up some words in that section though, I'm not sure. It's been a while since I've heard the song, and I didn't even find myself liking the song until recently.

Yeah, it's kinda garbled, but that DOES sound a bit like One Headlight...

Sort of a medium-speed alternative-poprock sound? Ah well, try it, kthulhu is probably right
