Unknown Anime

I have been searching for an anime (maybe merely a cartoon look-alike) for about five years and no one I know has a clue about what I am talking about, so I am losing hope. The basic plot is something about a war on a planet (big help), but the more unique twist to it is that at least one of the sides has gigantic bugs on its side (little hazy on that, could be a third neutral bug side). The "good" side has a prophecy explaining that there shall be peace when a figure in blue comes on a field of gold. end of movie is when it is found that a girl has developed a bond to the bugs and they lift her w/ their golden felers and thereby fulfills the prophecy.
Could I be more vague

?
Any help would be apreciated.

I got one, there is this schoolgirl with super powers and she ends up an a spaceship with a buch of other chicks that kidnapped her friend. saw it YEARS back, I cant remember the name. Any help?

Yeah, the last bit about a girl dancing on feelers fits PERFECTLY with Nausica. Actually, you probably saw it under the title "Warriors of the Wind" if it was on TV, which was a hideiously butchered version, but still relatively good, even if it had bad dialog.

First part:Read it with a mildly idignant tone.
Second part:Read it with a sassy,gay tone.

Hey, while we're on the subject. Does anyone know of an old old anime that aired around 1990-95. There were two men and one women who had suits, almost like the mighty morphin power ranger suits. The girl had a pink suit, one man had a red suit and the other man had a black suit.
Each had a special ability, the red man could run super-mega-duper-ultra fast. the rest I don't know about, and the plot I can't remember.

I realise it must be hard, but any help would be appreciated
