$0, since you can't buy 230 megs 8) .

Anyhow, looking around on the internet, the average price for 256 megabytes seems to be around $56.00 Canadian.

RDRAM. A different form of memory that came out a few years back. A lot of Intel based systems use it. Check your computer's manual, perhaps it will tell you what type of memory it uses.

No such thing.

There's PC66, PC100, PC133, SDRAM, RDRAM, DDR SDRAM, PC2100, PC 2700, CAS 2, CAS 3, CAS 2.5, ECC, Parity, EDO...

You need to know exactly what type you need, or odds are it won't work.

SDRAM:
-----PC66
-----PC100
-----PC133

DDR:
-----PC2100
-----PC2700

and the rest aren't going to be in faerie's computer
50 bucks says its pc133 sdram

Yeah, you have PC100 SDRAM :wink:

I suggest getting a stick of 256, seeing as the system can only handle 512 MB and it comes with 64 allready in it.

Might want to print that out for reference. Odds are that off the shelf memory will work, but you can never tell with these name brand PCs...
