Techno is an inclusive term to which trance belongs.
Electronic music can be techno but isn't always as it merely defines music that is played on entirely inorganic electronic instruments. Therefore you can have electronic trance, electronic progressive house, electric new age, etc...but I doubt there are too many people out there who would go that far with their descripters.

I said why I do or don't like the music, it's just that i don't like the way it sounds. I ALSO said why I don't like which ever scenes.

Read a second time closer, I don't hold any grudges against the music because of their scenes.

You misinterpreted my post as a direct comment to you... it was more like a comment to everyone. I'm just saying that everyone should keep an open mind, to avoid bunching together an entire group by the follys of those who you have heard. And I did read it closer, you just didn't understand what I was saying. Maybe next time, read my posts a third time closer!

There is a saying that 'Rap is Crap'. I also have my own saying for punk: 'Punk is Junk'.

Now, I just needed to say that, because I felt like it. However, I do not really hate Rap or Punk. What I very much dislike is what is IN Rap and Punk music now. In my opinion, it is crap! Pretty much the same message in each song. And yes, I have heard many songs in each genre.

Though, for me, I really enjoy music, and I'll listen to anything that has me hooked to it. I couldn't give a rat's ass what you, or other people think. I listen Powerman 5000, Metallica, Mr. Big, Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback, The Tea Party hell, even Backstreet Boys. You know what, I find that they all have awesome music. Also, I DO listen to songs in the Punk and Rap area as well, because even though a lot of it sucks, I can still manage to find some songs in those two genres that I like. For Example, songs from: The Offspring, Beastie Boys, and a few others.

I like MUSIC as a whole, not specifically its genres. Even though I dislike Punk and Rap right now, I do not hate it, because there will always be a song I will enjoy from each.

I don't hate nickel back, I just don't really like them that much.

I sorta liekd them, when i'd heared a song or two fo theirs, but as I listened to more stuff I realized how it all sounded the same, and how much they remind me of music like Creed, which I do hate. Creed to me, is the worst band ever.

I agree w/ you about Creed. I was just commenting on the apparent
backlash against Nickleback.
