It's much easier just to load the vcd template for TMPG :)
If your source is 23.976fps, you might as well use that framerate to get a better-looking end-product. :-)
If your source is 23.976fps then you suck and I hate you.
My source is 23.976fps.
You suck, I hate you :P
Well, if you hate me, I'm not going to suck.

Might as well post a Q here.

Is it Okay if I mix a NTSCfilm (23.nnfps) stream with a NTSC (29.nnfps) on a single VCD? Will it play normal on a VCD player?

Ciao.

doomy doom doom...
anyway, if you're trying to put amvs on vcd then you should use vcd, in which case yeah you need to encode them at 23.976/29.97 1150 kbps 352x240 mpeg 1 vcd streams. But if yer doing more interesting stuff like copying DVDs then you should use SVCD, because it allows for more stuff like 2 audio tracks, subtitles, and vbr. SVCD isnt nearly as strict as VCD. Res is limited to 480x480, but the bitrate can be anything from 0-2600 kbps, and the audio bitrate isn't restricted either. The spec says you have to use 44.1 khz audio, but converting the DVD audio which is 48 down to that is a huge waste of time and quality because all DVD players have to support 48 khz audio anyway. One more thing, I've found that using CVD resolution, which is 352x480, instead of 480x480, has a lot of advantages. If you need to know more than that, I gots more to tell. And the doomy doom doom thing wasnt a symbolic reference to doom9 of any sort, I just had.. the urge to say it. bye now
