A AMW Video Idea: 3 Tier Video Editing

Post by Gottaname » Wed Jul 31, 2002 8:10 am

I'm currently working on using three different editors to build one video. I can't disclose the process yet until I've found out that there are no bugs in the creation of it, but I can show you a small sample of what it can do. http://www.25cent.org/test1.wmv (Plays in windows media player)
I've got another video I made, not using this process, it's about the movies my website and MVs are all about http://www.25cent.org/25cent1.zip (Unzip and watch using Windows Media Player

That effect is easily done in Adobe Premiere.

I made this demo in about 10minutes. Is there something more to this 3-layer process that Iam not seeing? Such as you don't have Premiere?

Just it's great if you need all those editors to do neat stuff, but I just used one editor, Premiere, to do that effect....

I'll check out your other vid too ;)

Hehe, I agree with Klinky: this effect is basically straight-forward Premiere manipulation.

Now, if you want to tell me that you want to put multiple track mattes, masks 'n' stuff on your timeline then it's another matter :P

Anyway I am interested in this process... or at least understand what is it about :)
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I do have capability to add masks and stuff and do much more (The editor I'm using is Macromedia director :) ), I just still exprimenting... Anyway, what I mean is that this process will give me flexibilty in making videos. I do have adobe premiere, I hadn't touched it yet :)
