::looks at winamp:: I have about 700 songs, therefore I'm not going to list them. Most of them are on CD anyways, so that makes it easier.

Here are some examples: Fear Factory - Digimortal, Metallica - The Black Album, Nirvana - Self-titled, Slipknot - Self-titled, Drowning Pool - (can't remember name), System of a Down - Toxicity, Static-X - Machine, Disturbed - Believe ::I can go on and on, but I'm not...::

That's about 100-200 songs right there

hmm, i have about 32 hundred i think, so we're close. but I didn't do the math so i'm not sure, but it's close.

And shadow, I downlaod as many mp3s at once as you have, so 2 months? that's no excuse. You just don't have that much, there's not a crutch for everything you know.

you're right that is close but if kthulu is acurate in the count than that's at least 3414 songs. my god all i ever count is the songs i have on cds so that's probably just a couple hundred. but all varied.

now i have a question, i heard about this one group, they were like german lesbians or something and i heard one song and i thought it sounded quite nice so do any of you know the name of the group?

That would be T.A.T.U., and the song is "All the things she said". They're Russian, not German, by the way. Here's a fan site about them.

Good luck loading this one (176k); but if you're interested, this is a flat text file return of my MP3 database. It's contents: 3000 something of every genre except for my Trance/Club. If I somehow manage to ad those the sum wil be over near 6000.
