Premiere Manual.

Books for Premiere are stupid because they tell you what the manual tells you in different words.

Read the manual.. or ask us WHAT you would like to do. What type of effect you want to perform.

You actually can't do a WHOLE lot with Premiere. It's mainly a "bring it all together and synch it up" type program rather then a content creator/effect hax0r master program ala Discreets Combustion or like uhh After Effects.

Rubbish.

The AX judges thought that I had access to Avid in order to make Shamless Rock Video. All I used was Premiere and Virtualdub.

I've yet to find an effect that I want to use that I can't replicate somehow in Premiere, although I admit it is easier to do certain things in premiere (easier except the timing, which I find difficult in AE)

Yeah yeah yeah your video is somewhat the exception to that statement...

Premiere has issues with like windowing with a nice feathered edge. It's just so so easy in After Effects. I love Premiere and prefer to work with it over After Effects... actually I haven't made any major projects in After Effects.... Just I can't stand how you must determine a composition size, BEFORE you make it.. Just not very flexible. GRrr

Just I don't think Premiere is worth a book on.... :p

They're not going to tell you how to do the l33t effects that Ian did in SRV....

Most books just tell you the basics and actually go more into detail about using the transitions and exporting your video for television  which won't really help you here.

and the Premiere manual is very detailed anyways!

Talk to adobe and explain to them that "I have pirated software and would like a free manual".

They will be very kind and give you one because they love everyone.

But the damn software, or get a worthwhile warez version. I mean com'on!?

You don't have a Help|Search option ??? hmmmm

In that case go waste money on a book or possibly search adobe's website and maybe there is a way you can get a printed manual
