I saw that too. Put the item in your cart and during the checkout process you will see a discount code automatically appear and drop the price to $153.18. They will also charge you shipping but another code will off set that so shipping is free.

Grrr. Dell, bad. After as much %(*&#$#2 as they put me through trying to exchange my 120GB WD drive that I bought from them and then went out about a month and a half ago, I can't recommend to anyone to get something from them- especially just a hard drive. Their service and support is not set up to deal with people who don't buy entire systems from them- you can't even access the Customer Service portion of their web site without a system ID number, and you'll likely get bounced around (in a circle) by about a dozen people when you call them before you find someone who knows what they're talking about to help you. And their web site apparently lies about the warranty on the drives. The WD drive I bought was listed as having a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. But when I contacted WD about it and gave them the serial number from the drive, I was told that it had been sold to Dell as an OEM for installation in their systems, not individual sale, and as such Dell was responsible for the warranty. It took me over 5 weeks to finally get the correct new replacement drive from them (I have the 8MB version of the WD drive- the first time they sent me a 2MB cache Seagate). And according to them, they were doing me a huge favor, because they only claim a 90 day warranty on drives they sell through the site. I know that I for one won't be purchasing a single thing more from Dell, no matter how good the deal is. It's just not worth the potential trouble.

[/rant]

Sorry, but this has caused me a lot of grief over the last few months and caused me to be down 3/4 of my normal drive space, and I don't want anyone else walking into this blind and getting whacked over the head and really screwed- I got really lucky in that the drive that went out wasn't my system drive and I was between videos... had it been my sole/primary drive, I would have been out my main ediing box for a month and a half when it should have been resolved within a week.

So there is no confusion here is the proof that the deal is on the site:

As for their customer service, well, I'll just say I love my Mac and leave it at that :)
