Video Game AMV's

Post by CaTaClYsM » Sat Jul 27, 2002 5:57 pm

Which video games have the best anime cut scenes to be used in an AMV?
Right now I am partial to Wild ARMs 2 and Tales of Destiny 2 but I wanted everyones input cuz right now those are my top contenders for my next AMV

Lemme just clear this up for you: If you use Video game footage for a video it's not an AMV (Anime Music Video), it's a VGMV (Video Game Music Video). Someone posted something similar about a Star Wars 2 AMV  I'm only telling you this because you'll get flamed for the mix-up

Yes yes... you have to watch for those flames. They are really tough to get rid of... You really do have to watch what you type. The next letter could be the wrong one...

As far as I am concerned if it's an ANIME cut scene its an ANIME music video, regardles of if it was an a video game, TV, DVD, VHS tape, or a fucking indian smoke signal.

am I wrong?

No, you're not wrong. I misunderstood your question. I thought you were using 'video game' and 'anime' interchangably when talking about cut scenes. That's what I get for posting after midnight.
I believe Xenogears has anime cut scenes, but whether they'd be useful or not in your AMV is in the air, depending on what you're doing, what kind of AMV you're making, and the song you're using.

leastsuspected- It's not one letter difference...it's two :P

They definetly need a better face for the razz emo...

Yes it does,
But that leads me to another question, what song should I use for an AMV with Wild Arms 2 AMV? (Primarily with WA2, I would just be using other games as a kind of filler to keep from scene recycling.)

Hmm, how about the Wild Wild West song? I think it'd fit. :)
