Fortunately, your problem can be answered by using the "search" option. (I know, because I'm the one who answered the question in the past.)

to Double O Ninety: VirtualDub doesn't have support for ASF format anymore.. it's copyrighted by Microsoft (TM) (R) (C) (INC) and blah blah blah..
