Cheaper than free editing software

From what I'm reading about it, it's not nearly as powerful or useful as Premiere or even some others, but Amazon currently has the Roxio VideoWave Movie Creator for $43 with a $50 in rebates, so after the rebates come back you've made $7 off the deal. The link is here.

True, it is free, but you don't make money on it like you do this (assuming your $50 would not have accrued over $7 in interest wherever it would have been over the 6-8 weeks it will likely take to get the rebates back. If your $50 would accrue more interest than that- I'd like to get some investing advice from you!)

Actually, for me the problem isn't as much getting Linux installed and up and running (though I'm currently being lazy and not bothering fixing my botched Gentoo upgrade), it's getting used to how differently Cinerella appears to work... :/
