Current Standings

In Greek mythology, the Twelve Olympians are the major deities commonly considered to be Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes and either Hestia, or Dionysus. They were the principal deities of ancient Greek religion, and resided atop a mythical Mount Olympus. Together they presided over every aspect of human life and were worshiped for their many virtues.

Round Challenge
For round 1, you will be choosing an Olympian God and editing a video inspired by their virtues. Please note that the theme of your video should be their virtues, and not simply the Gods themselves. For example: Editing a video about fire will not be enough to satisfy the theme if you choose Hephaestus (even though he is the God of fire). You're allowed to incorporate fire into your video, but the core concept should be about his virtues of "forge, and craftsmanship". Submitting Your Video:
When finished, please upload your video to a reputable file sharing service and send the download link to me via a private message here on animemusicvideos.org. The body of your message should also include the name of the God who's virtues your video represents. Google Drive and Dropbox are the preferred methods of uploading your video, but please ensure that the URL you send is a “shared” or “public” link. Sendspace is not reccomended due to a daily download limit that it imposes. Note: Youtube or ”streaming only” links will not be accepted. You do not have to wait until the final day to submit your video. You are also free to share and upload your videos before the deadline. Just be aware that doing so may help your opponents. If you finish early and feel that your video does not need anymore tweaking, you may submit it at any time before the deadline date. At the end of each round, all the submitted videos will be made available to the public to stream on google drive. If you would like the download option to be disabled on your video and to only allow it to be streamed, please add this request to the body of your submission message. By default, all videos will be made available for download unless the editor specifically requests that it doesn't. Editors also have the option to request that one of their videos be completely unavailable to the public, and only the judges will be able to view it. This option is only available during the preliminary rounds, can only be used once, and can not be changed to a different video (even if the editor chooses to remove the restriction on the previous one).

yeah, the pictures of the gods made the list a little long. The other rounds probably wont have this problem (although some of their lists are actually significantly longer).

Once you click the link, your browser should ask you to if you want to allow skype to open it. When you choose yes, it will automatically add you (as long as you are already logged into sykpe and have the program open).

If this doesn't work, PM me your skype username and I can add you manually.

Your list does not included Hades because he is not an Olympian however the theme is Gods meaning Hades should count, therefore what do you consider to be Hades virtues?

To be specific, the theme is "Olympian Gods". And since Hades doesn't actually live on Mount Olympus, he is not considered an Olympian (even though he most certainly is a God). So for the purpose of this round, Hades will not be a valid option for you to choose. Only the 13 that are listed will be accepted.
