This topic is for confirming new anime into the Org's database. Before asking for something to be confirmed, please follow these steps first.
1. Confirm that the show isn't already listed and confirmed in the database. When you're entering a new video into the catalog, you can do this by going to the add anime page
(step 3) and checking what is currently in the database. If you don't see the anime that you need listed, please check the
Anime News Network Encyclopedia to confirm that you're searching for the official English title of the show.
2. If you still don't see the anime listed, then you can add it to the database by clicking the new anime button at the bottom of the page. This will cause a new window to appear that will allow you to enter the name of the anime. When doing so, please copy and paste its title from the
Anime News Network Encyclopedia
3. Once you have entered your anime into the database, you will then be able to select it on the add anime list for your video. This will also put the anime in the queue to be confirmed by a moderator. In order to upload a video to the org, your video will need to have at least one confirmed anime. We check the queue every few weeks, but if you need an anime to be confirmed faster than that, feel free to post the title of the anime in this thread after you've completed these steps. Once we see your message, we should be able to confirm your anime within 24 hours.
