It is true. While many people attempt to make studios around those who try out, it's hard to make it work because the members hardly know each other. The joys of being part of a studio is to have friends in there and get along with those apart of it. When a member feels outcasted because they didn't really join for the same reasons or it was because of try out it can be difficult to even enjoy being in a studio.

Being by yourself as an AMV maker is different but you can get the same feedback from just friends you gain around you in the AMV community. You never need to feel required to join a studio.

You should never feel required to join one in the first place. Don't let a studio logo at the beginning of your video speak for you, let your work speak for itself. Let the advice and ideas you've learned from talking with friends guide you into your own style and be your own editor.

Okay I understand what you guys are saying. The two people I've asked through messaging them have joined and that is because I have talked with them before and not through this post really. So this hasn't worked like I thought it would.
