That's fine, though I should mention one thing I forgot to earlier: we have quite the shortage of comedies at the moment. ^^>

(Yes, I know the categories aren't decided until after the finalists are picked, but I don't want to have to find out how the audience would react to a contest with no comedy category.)

Closed to new FTPs, but for those of you who've already sent the forms, only 4 hours remain to get those videos in!

As I type this, we are still awaiting 20 videos from 14 editors. I've checked and processed all the videos known to have been sent; so if you uploaded yours but haven't heard from me, then please e-mail amv@animenext.org to tell us it's ready -- or if you have, then check your junk mail.

I'm happy to report that the aforementioned shortage of comedy has been relieved; thank you all for making that happen.

I'm a dam day late again..

And with all sent that's getting sent, we have 80 videos received, 1 of which was DQed due to logos (and for the file being corrupt and unplayable) and 1 of which is noncompeting.
That's from 56 creators, 17 of whom have indicated they'll be at the con, from six countries (USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Australia).

Finalists should be announced in mid-May. Check this space for updates!

And we have the finalists list! Each category is listed in alphabetical order by credit name as usual (which works out well because I don't have the exact play order decided yet). If you see your name here and want it changed, please let me know as soon as possible, because I need to get the ballots ordered as soon as the play order is set.
