MomoCon 2014 AMV Dinner (Friday 5/24 @ 9pm)

Hello everyone. I'm making this thread to gauge interest for some of the ideas that I'm tossing around for MomoCon 2014. We are always looking to expand the AMV department, so I would like to hear your feedback


AMV Dinner
The AMV Dinner will be held on Friday at 9pm. More info will be posted soon

AMV Arena
AMV Arena is MomoCon's version of Iron Editor. But instead of having 2 editors go against each other, we allow up to 5. Last year's participants were AMV4000, Zanzaben, Jingoro, ZephyrStar, and Mr Pilkington. Zanzaben defeated the previous champion AMV4000, so he'll be returning this year to face up to 4 new editors. Currently, Mycathatesyou is the only confirmed opponent at the moment. So we can accept up to 3 more. Is anyone interested in participating?

AMV Contest
The AMV contest will be returning for its 2nd year, and we decided to make the prize for the finalist a permanent feature of the contest. Just like last year, each finalist will receive a free 3 day pass to the convention. And this year, entrants that attend MomoCon will also have the opportunity to vote on the winner of the "Editors' Choice" Award that will be given out at the end of the contest. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... 5&t=119916


About MomoCon:
MomoCon is an annual three-day anime, animation, manga, gaming, and costuming convention. MomoCon features over 900 hours of events and programming, and includes such features as vendors, artists, contests, tournaments, celebrity guests, concerts, karaoke, interactive workshops, martial arts, cultural events, and events targeted at every age group! In 2011, MomoCon welcomed more than 10,000 attendees, and we were happy to be listed as the 10th largest anime convention in North America by Animecons.com. In 2013, we grew even more, and welcomed over 12,000 attendees. Celebrating our 10th year in operation, MomoCon 2014 will take place on Memorial Day Weekend at the Hilton Atlanta and Marriott Marquis from May 23rd – 25th.

Thursday does seem better. There's a better chance of me being able to make it out this year, with the weekend it's on and what not. We'll see. If I can make it down I'd be up for joining in on the IC.
