ANN wrote:Long ago, humanity lived in the sea. But the humans who longed for the land left the sea behind. They cast aside the special raiment they'd been given by the sea god that let them live in the ocean. The thinking of the sea humans and the land humans became as separate as the places they lived, and as countless time passed, they forgot they were once one people. This will change as the land-dwelling human Kihara Tsumugu befriends four children who live in a village at the bottom of the sea.

Even though MC is infuriating to all hell, this show is looking to be one of my favorites this season. I'm enjoying the love train going on, it's very reminiscent of Ano Natsu de Matteru, which I gave a 10/10 on MAL. Top that off with some epic ocean fantasy with some awesome history and this could possiblly be top 10 material if it doesn't go badly. Here's hoping.

That scene at the end was so beautiful. The animation was perfect, but the music (which I rarely ever noticed outside of this season) was really good as well. Can't wait to see this anime go forward with the ocean town/gods plot.

Dang, this anime is so amazing. I never expected it so much character development.
I've arleady given up on pairings since it just keeps changing, and now it's on another level of change.
Muina looks so beautiful now too. :3

Episode 15 was fucking great. I thought the love train was huge but now IT'S EVEN BIGGER. Never in my days did I think that those two little girls would end up being actual contenders for a pairing. Just brilliant. Now I seriously don't know who to ship, every character deserves some lovin'.
BUT I DO KNOW ONE THING. Akira is best character. No contest.
