Anime Milwaukee 2014 AMV Contest Announcement

Hey guys!

We took last year off, and are getting off to a rather late start this year, but the Anime Milwaukee AMV Contest is back!

I'm the new coordinator (so be gentle, mkay ;D) but I have Derek (Kariudo), the old coordinator, to back me up this year.

The rules haven't changed from the last time we ran the contest back in 2012, and can be found here on our site.

Unfortunately, we don't have an online form this year, so entries need to be sent by email to amv@animemilwaukee.com.
In your email, please include:

• Your real name, or an alias you would prefer for us to use for the contest
• The Title of your AMV
• The Category you are submitting to
• The music you used in your AMV in Artist, "Song Title" format
• The anime that you used in your AMV
• A link where your entry can be downloaded

Youtube links are not allowed, and please do not attach your video to the email (we don't have the inbox space for that).

If you need a place to upload your video so you can give us a download link, try mediafire.com, mega.co.nz, rapidshare.com, or sendspace.com

Yep, I am instructing shutterbug in the way of AMV.

My goal is to help the contest run smoothly this year, and (hopefully) transfer enough knowledge so that shutterbug here can run the contest by herself next year.

At this point, I'll probably be the one fielding most of the questions, so I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread.

The deadline is a month away if you don't want to be left on the sidelines, hurry and submit your AMVs to amv@animemilwaukee.com. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 17th, 2014 just before midnight. There have been some good videos sent in and added to the line up. The more entries that are sent in, the more fun this will be. See you there and if not I will try to set something up so the winners can be announced or displayed.

Two and a half weeks remain to submit entries for the Anime Milwaukee 2014 AMV Contest. Also could use some more romance, action, and DUFOTT. Thank you to all the contestants who worked hard on their entries and good luck in the Judging phase.

Been getting a lot of AMVs but now I really need AMVs in the Comedy and Romance Category. To all those who have already submitted their AMVs I extend to big thank you for your time and committment. Good luck at the contest!
