The nearest waffle house is pretty nice, though if you drive down Cobb a little ways there's another one that isn't as busy and the wait staff is awesome. We wind up getting the same guys every year and they remember us :D

Seriously, half the fun of AWA for me is all the food in the area I don't get normally at home :D

Yes, I have been spoiled on the local cuisine as well. The weekend is usually as follows from arrival to departure:

Thursday:

Waffle House
Cheesecake Factory

Friday:
Marietta Diner

Saturday:
Sonny's Ribs

Sunday:
I think we went to the tilted kilt, but that was more of a post-con amv dinner

Monday:
We tried a new place, a buffet diner, cannot remember the name but the food was good.

I easily spend about $150 on food for the days that I'm there, most going towards steaks/ribs.
Gimme a minute, I'll make a cool one....

I've kicked myself for not looking for a good rib place down there yet. I must be shown the way.

Picadilly Cafe in Marrietta is the place SD

Bashar, you should really try Sonny's. It's just up Cobb a few miles. It's in the Walmart out lots just beyond the Marrietta Diner. Pretty good BBQ though I'm not a big fan of their sauces myself, but the pork tastes awesome without it! The only issue is that by the time we usually get out there on Saturday night they will be out of Brisket.

Cyanna keeps telling me to RSVP for this thing and assuring me we can make it, so please add us both to the list.

Okay that place had me at "Kitchen Sink Pork Nachos" when I looked up their website. They also have a wide range of pork and chicken to choose from.

Oh trust me, if I had a way go shuttle everyone around there's plenty of great places to eat around there! Jim 'n Nicks is some of the best BBQ around. If you like a fiery yaoichute Peter Chang's has great szechuan cuisine as well as takes on traditional american meals. Umeznono down the street is about as authentic japaneses as you can get in that area, foods pretty tasty; not going to lie, its not the best but it's still pretty darn good. For burgers and dogs you've gotta hit Blais' joints Flip and HD1. And then there's Fogo................ words do not exist to describe the splendor. Image

An editor's dinner? What is this? :amv:

I'm still thinking about going. I need to do a little more planning. To see MJ and Castor again would be nice.

CBR wouldn't be complete if I wasn't there :dino:
