Hey guys. SabotenCon is getting ready to kick off again in Arizona, so here's the deets for our AMV contest. Now open for entries!

Entry deadline is August 23rd 2013 and all submissions must be received by then.

The following categories will be used:

Action
Drama
Comedy
Trailer

There will be a Audience’s Choice Award given to the best amv voted on by the audience

There will be 1st and 2nd place winners. Winners present during the contest will receive prizes, while winners not present at the convention will be mailed a certificate of their win.

You may enter up to two videos but each video MUST be in a different category.

This is a PG-13 rated event. As such, all entries will be expected to follow the official MPAA ratings guidelines which define PG-13. To view the guidelines, please visit http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_Ratings.asp.

Videos will not be shorter than 1 minute and no longer than 6 minutes.

No subtitles *funsub* will be allowed in videos. This includes original subtitles from video game footage and anime. If you want to added your own subtitles for the sake of the AMV then that will be allowed.

No editor credits will be allowed in videos. This will be handeled when all entries are in, so no worries. Everyone will get credit for their videos.

You will be able to use video game footage.

Videos may not include watermarks or logos. (That’s the little emblem in the corner of video, often found on footage taped from TV. It’s generally annoying as much as anything else.) Videos marked with logos such as Sci Fi, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network will be disqualified.

I will accepted MPEG, AVI, MP4, MOV formats.

Anime used: (Just to satiate the curious ones out there)
Editor name: (in this case if you use an alias for your editor name, please include you real name alongside that)
E-mail address: (The one you can be best reached at should we have additional questions or need to contact you in you're a winner)
