I really like how the two timelines are intertwined, also Touma has just lost his memory so he's still trying to learn things. Gah, next ep is going to be good, and I'm so happy this will be a 24 ep show so we still have a whole other arc to look forward to

ep 12, loved the scene between imouto misaka and the cat

Spoiler :
So, it wasn't misaka that destroyed the tree diagram, someone else (probably that artifact group) destroyed it so she couldn't tamper with it. REALLY hope we get to see the accelerator fight as this is really interconnecting with the original series.

Aaaaah now that you say it, I think I remember someting involving the destruction of a satellite in the 1st series.
And since I hardly remember it, can you remind me if this stops the Misaka cloning thing ?

Yeah. In the first season when Touma had found that Index's memories were wiped each year (or something like that) he activated the John's Pen mode of Index (basically she went berserk) and she accidentally destroyed the satellite.
This incident didn't directly stop the experiment, though. They continued it, but they couldn't estimate a second time the datas needed for the experiment(because no more Tree Diagram) if a abnormality had to happen. And that's why Touma went beat up Accelerator.

Thanks Kain!

I always thought that the Index series were a bit random, but now I'm glad to see it all taking sense.

Index s1 only just came out in Australia (Sony is a new licencee of anime here now :D) I just rewatched that first arc of Index and was thinking OOOOOOOHHHHH yeah that's what happened to the Tree Diagram! I don't think that was the most important aspect of that scene when you watch it =p

best ep of Index became best ep of Railgun. Same scene but years ahead in animation. Although in Index I don't think she

I think they just wanted more impact. Also at least we know what Misaka is talking about when in Index she says during the fight

"Help me protect his dream!"

Yeah, that scene was so good. While the animation was better, for me the thing that stood out the most was actually Misaka's amazing voice acting performance! :awesome:

plasma
from s1 of Index looks like a joke compared to how they animated it in this episode. Probably Accelerator's biggest badass moment so far.
