Today at lunch I was told I couldn't possibly be a JET/ALT. I couldn't be more than 19 years old, and there's no way I had finished school that early. Was I here as an exchange student?

The waiter's jaw dropped, literally, not figuratively, when I handed over my drivers' license showing I was 29.

Ya I'm 30 with 2 kids and I still get asked for ID

The age is 19 and they ask if you look under 25. I assume I'm aging because I get told I look 23 which is better than being asked if I'm going back to school.
