Yup, there are toys that crawl - agreed.
. What interest me was a way to have the turret point the direction it would travel. Yours is not capable of doing such; its a minor set-back to tanks "to wait for the tracks direction to face the way you need to travel".
. This is not a new concept, following the turret direction; whats new is "this 360° directional responce."
. Impressive concept when you only turn the view finder and the legs respond to it!

I'm working on a redesign of the legs:
1) to apply and climb the inside of a Vertical PVC Pipe Horizontally.
2) to jump up and over 9"s to exit the pipe w/o climbing ^__^
Now if I can get my modified model to Jump, as if spring loaded, in the direction its facing T__T ....
