Where do I have to go to download Sony Vegas?

I'm trying to practice editing .avi files but have no clue where to find it.

Sony makes a trial version available HERE. After the 30-day trial is up, you'll need to buy a license to keep using it.

I've got it but, how do I make it work?

I'm not trying to do anything really fancy. Just play around with some .avi files and cut out the openings from two seperate series and replace each one.

Sony Vegas is good in editing music annd videos but how much will it cost to get a license one?

Vegas Pro starts at $400 US. There are $600 and $900 bundles as well.

You can also get the much less expensive Movie Studio, which starts at about $100, though it doesn't have all of the features the full Pro version does.

Also there are some students discounts if you can catch one and you're a student.
