Post by Vlad G Pohnert » Sun Mar 03, 2013 10:23 pm

Hi All,

For all those planning on coming to Sakura-Con this year, there are several AMV related events that creators can take part in

AMV Creator’s Dinner
I would like to see if we can organize another AMV Dinner this year on Thursday night around 6:00 – 7:00 pm. If you’re interested please let me know. ALSO, as I do not live in the Seattle area, I will need suggestions of places to eat and someone to assist in booking if we have enough of us.

AMV Creator Spotlights
Spotlights consists of 15 minute slots for a creator to show and talk about a few of their AMVs in the AMV Theater. The Block of Creator Spotlights are Scheduled from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday. If you’re interested, please let me know by March 15 at the latest and I’ll send you more information.

AMV Creation Panel
I’m looking for interested creators that to be on the panel to talk about the craft of making AMVs. I’ll be hosting it and the format consists of discussion of various aspect of AMV Making and questions from the audience as well as a surprise or two! Schedule for Friday from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. If you’re interested please let me know by March 15.

there is the cheesecake factory, but that is always packed, a nice seafood place at pike place market, rock bottom brewery is getting old, Dragonfish which is a sushi restaurant in the Paramount hotel

Im a bit iffy on fully suggesting seafood because of possible dietary restrictions

most the rest of the places in the immediate area that could accommodate a large group is up there in the price range

Rock Bottom has worked out pretty well despite going there every year.
