Problems Uploading a New Video

Post by dacXlee » Tue Feb 26, 2013 5:27 pm

I've entered a new video, provided the basic information, but it won't appear on the uploads' list.
It might be, I think, because the animated material that I chose is not a Japanese cartoon, although it was listed as "confirmed non-anime", which I thought meant "allowed non-anime". Hmh, maybe I was wrong. Anyway, I'm talking about the animated series of X-Men, from the 1990's.

If that is the problem, then I guess I won't be able to upload it on this website and in this case, if anyone can recommend me any other site where I could upload this, please.... Except YouTube - my account has been deleted there, after deleting my AMVs one by one.

But if that is not the problem, then, please, help me fix it, someody...

Unfortunately that is the very problem. If it's not considered anime by org's standard, then it's not an AMV and it does not fit in our site catalog. However you are more than welcome to announce it in the General Discussion forum. As for uploading places, MediaFire, Mega, and Dropbox come to mind, but there are many others.
In the meantime, I marked the entry as deleted, so you won't incur in issues for next year's VCAs, should you make any AMV this year. :amv:

I see, so that's it.

Well, thank you. I'll upload it somewhere else and publish it here on the forum. As you suggested.
