I was thinking that some of them would be pretty expensive, but I'm definately open to discussing all of this. So what does everyone think of going to the Hard Rock Cafe? http://www.hardrock.com/locations/cafes ... IBenumID=3

How far away is it from the hotel? Walking distance?

The food there is some of the worst of the hard rocks I have been to, but it is about the only place I can think would fit our group.

That or maybe fire of Brazil :Q Meat coma
I would recommend calling some early time this week and coordinate with the restaurant. If they have a few days notice usually they're very accommodating. Or so I seem to have noticed.

Also add Britt and Stephi to the list please. I cant go anywhere without my entourage. :awesome:

Oh God, Fire of Brazil.
For people who aren't aware Fire of Brazil is a Brazilian Steakhouse similar to Fogo De Chao, so it means all you can eat high quality meat.
Downsides are that it is indeed expensive, I can't speak for Fire's specifically but Fogo and other Steakhouses cost around $50 per person for dinner.
On the plus side you won't have to eat at all for the rest of the con

I for one would never turn down a chance to go to a Brazilian Steakhouse so I am for it.

$50 a person is a lot. It may be best of we all make this decision when we meet up at the con. Our group isn't terribly large, so we'll probably be ok without making a reservation.

One thing to note about Fire's is that if we where to change the AMV Dinner to the AMV Lunch it would become $20-30 per person.

iirc FoB is $40 +drink. If we did do lunch it IS a lot less expensive, but everyone would have to agree in a time mid-day.

12 people for dinner down town? On a Friday!? We better at least decide tomorrow and call ahead 24 hours. Otherwise we'll never get in. Plus I couldn't be gone too long, I have to be back to help Mike at 9. 2 hours with a wait for a 12 top is likely going to put me out of dinner :(
