I'M REALLY GLAD HIBITO DIDN'T DIE. They threw me for a second when they showed that bit of him losing oxygen and shouting in pain about his head. But I sobbed the entire time, and I'm so glad they didn't kill him.
I also watched the Space Bros. live action movie subbed the other day. Not bad, not bad. The pacing was a little weird and they rearranged a lot of scenes, but the acting was pretty ace and they had a perfect Mutta.
DOIT. Best animu currently airing, and has been that way since it started so... for almost a year now. The pacing is a bit on the slower side, but you never get the feeling they're just doing fillers to slow it down, instead you get some very good character development for main and side characters alike (though that should be a given with such a length). The story itself and the setting are pretty interesting too, but the characters really are what make this show what it is, imho.
