You see, most girls do, in fact, fall in love with the first guy that's nice to them.TEKnician wrote:Sure, fall in love with the FIRST guy who is nice to you. Ok.
Being as cute as you are, you could probably do a tad better.
Guaranteed, of course, that for most girls this happens in kindergarten or in first few years of school.

Re: Kotoura-san
Ok, just started and watched the first 2 eps, I gotta say this series is pretty deep, definitely has serious elements to it with short breaks of eroness from Manabe.
I gotta say, Manabe is probably the first example of a "dumb hero" that I actually like. Most male protagonists are either completely worthless or as so 2-demensional they're just boring, Manabe is awesome.
that aside, this is the first series to actually evoke genuine sympathy from me for a character, definitely following this to the end. seriously, I just want to hug her each time I see Kotoura crying
btw, anyone else think the box was a metal gear solid reference?

Re: Kotoura-san
ep 3,
holy shit manabe really is a badass. I'm betting he has a bit of backstory which explains why he acts the way he does, he's not just some ero-character. although that is a big part of his character (lol at the hospital scene and the ruined potential confession part).
but seriously, Kotoura is one of the most moe characters I've seen in a while in anime, the animation + her reactions and lines are all really well done.

ep 4
daaaaaawwwww, another episode oozing cuteness all over the place. I love the character interaction in this series, from manabe's spanking delusions to his reaction to the karate girl. And Kotoura's grandpa is the future Manabe in 50 years lol
I'm pretty sure there's going to be drama with Kotoura's mom later in the series (since she's in the opening) but for now I'm going to enjoy getting cavities from the sweetness in the current eps lol.
