Delicious Tears-kun was so weak after all.

Well, it's over now. And yes, watching delicious tears-kun crying (in two episodes) was very satisfying, they should have skipped all the romantic crap at the end and just had his crying scene on a loop for the whole last episode.

Anyway, personally I never really liked Kirito, he falls into the "If you do something with all your heart and soul you will succeed" category, whereas I prefer a main character who actually is able to think rationally in tight situations. But it was still a good series overall.

It's interesting that after going to all the trouble of saving Asuna, it felt like more of the focus went to Leafa at the end. Not really a bad thing, but still interesting to note.

Also, after all the MMOs being shut down, It seems like having all these new servers, games and such brought back to a point where ANYONE could use and modify them would be kinda...problematic? But there's no way this show could have had a completely happy end without the game coming back, wouldn't feel right.

That's why they have the accel world series, which for some reason was released before SAO :3

This covered up to the Fairy Dance arc, thus up to volume 4. There are 11 volumes currently (with volume 11 released a couple weeks ago) and it is still an ongoing series. A spin-off series, SAO: Progressive, has also started, with 1 volume published so far.
