Have been eyeing a Dell 3011U monitor for the last couple of years. Won't need it until I start texturing work on my film, but I'll be fast approaching that this spring. The monitor retails for $1399, and right now it's on sale for the lowest I've seen it, ever, for $999. Not gonna buy it, as I've been waiting for a hardware refresh on this thing, or for someone else to make something better. Maybe by the spring I can still get it cheaply? :/

ive lived in a predominantly estrogen filled house for most of my life and i for the love of god do not EVER want to do it again. women MOST of the time are too high maintenance.

a little thing that is annoying me is how everyone is "Getting in to the Christmas spirit" this year. 1 thing I love about Christmas is the grumpy people.
I'm a pretty"Jolly" guy myself but when everyone gets into the mood where its like . it isnt as fun for me because i like the cheer the grumpy people up. But this year everyone seems to be happy......

It's not 30" But I got a pair of 27" WQHD IPS monitors that use the same panels that Dell (and Apple and LG) all use for under $700. There are korean ebay sellers that sell these no-frills panels for dirt cheap and they spec just as good or better than the name brand ones in independent tests (i believe anandtech and tomshardware both did some in-depth reviews). They do have the 30" ones too. A bit more than the $300-$350 price for the 27" ones, but not too much more.

Am I the only one who's never had this problem? I had two female roommates not so long ago and we got along great. One is still one of my closest friends, and the other was very easy to get along with. I can't recall there ever being any major annoyances in the house. But maybe I'm just strange...

Not being able to win no matter what I do, and things always coming back as somehow being my fault, even when I'm 100% positive all of the details are fine on my end. I also hate not being able to answer questions that people ask me, because I never know if they're only asking me in order to do an end-run around what someone else has already told them.

Coming in for 2nd shift to realize that my supervisors forgot to schedule an generalist analyst on shift during the day today, so I show up to a shit ton of tickets that I have to handle as I'm the only one on shift currently till 3rd shift comes in.....

In a business where 90% of the issues that come in come in during the day... way to go scheduling!
